Why Limitless?

As part of our thinking about becoming a worshiping community, young people in the Anglican team were thrown the gauntlet to suggest and choose a name.

Challenge accepted! After several suggestions and a veto (Pot Noodle Church was never going to happen 😉 the name Limitless was born.

So we are Limitless.

Here are three reasons why we think LIMITLESS CHURCH is a great name for us:    

We have a limitless
God

We are a worshipping community, we worship a God who is limitless and who’s love and power is without measure (Eph 3:14-21).

We are a worshipping community where young people can meet and worship God together. 

We are a limitless community

As a worshipping community that seeks to be intergenerational, we seek to be a community with no limits to age, where the generations can speak of God’s goodness and greatness to each other (Psalm 145:4).

We are a church with a mission focused on equipping young people to be disciples of Jesus Christ, but open to everyone.

people

 As a worshipping community focused on young people we believe that what young people can achieve for the Kingdom of God has no limits.

Paul writes to Timothy (1Tim 4:12) ‘Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young.’

In other words, don’t let anyone limit you. We long to see a generation of young people raised up to transform Market Harborough and beyond with the good news of Jesus.

 Our story so far

Limitless Church is the name for the youth ministry of the Harborough Anglican Team. 

Building on the success for our current youth ministry, Pathfinders and 10+, we are on a journey towards becoming a worshiping community which has a focus on serving the young people of the Harborough area.

Our vision is to be an intergenerational worshipping community with a mission for young people.

This means we will be a church attended by people of all ages who want to see young people growing as disciples of Jesus. We will do this by being a church where young people are:
