Stay Curious!
Curiosity is good! If you’re curious about life, meaning, what you’re here for, who you are or any of the other big questions of life, why not try Alpha? Alpha is a series of interactive sessions around the Christian faith designed to create and inspire conversation, with a short talk and discussion where you can share thoughts in a friendly, relaxed environment.
There’s no question off-limits and if you prefer to listen rather than talk, that’s fine too! This is your time to be curious in the way you want to, in the company of like-minded people, in a safe and fun place. Everyone is welcome and we provide a home-cooked 2 course meal to start each evening off. There’s no charge, no pressure and no follow up; simply time to explore. We sometime run online courses so if you are vulnerable and shielding or would have difficulty accessing the course in-person or would simply prefer to join online, please let us know. We also occasionally run daytime courses – again if you are interested in finding out more, please contact us.
We usually start with an introductory session, which doesn’t commit you to continuing with the course but is just to give you a taster of what it’s like and there is never any obligation to continue if you decide it’s not for you. No matter your background or belief, all are welcome. Our next course is on Monday evenings at Great Bowden Church and starts with a ‘Taster’ session on Monday 22nd January. It’s free, relaxed and you’ll meet some great people so why not give it a try?
