Session 2 builds on the key skills of active listening, building trust and being an encourager.
Conversations are a key ingredient in the mentoring relationship. This program is called Let’s Talk because it is through conversation that we can learn about ourselves and each other. The intergenerational relationships that are formed when young people and those less young share lives can be life changing for young and old alike.
In the pre-session material there are videos that give an introduction to mentoring followed by the four key areas of engaging in conversation.
