Family Service with Kids Connect

Sunday mornings

Our family service is hosted by St Dionysius at 11.15am on Sunday mornings.

Church will be a bit different as we comply with the current rules for opening churches. To find out what you can expect at St Dionysius for our Family Service, Andy has put a short video together to show you the changes.

Kids Connect is for 5-11 year olds and is all about staying connected to God when we are not at church.

Every week there is a Kids Connect video for families to watch together. There is always a craft and a challenge and the chance to talk about faith together.

There is the option to register children for Kids Connect. This means parents will be kept up to date with Kids Connect news and you will be able to attend live online events and face to face activities too.

Kids Connect Group

Kids Connect is a Connect Group for 5-11 year olds. Each week there is a short video specially made by people from church. There will be games, quizzes, prayers, crafts and stories for children and parents to enjoy. You can access these videos at the top of this page.

The videos build on the previous Sunday service. They will keeping us thinking during the week about what we have learned about God.

Please consider watching the video with your child and sharing in the activities. There will also be a challenge that you can think about together during the week.

We would love people from across the Harborough Anglican Team to be included in the videos. This will help children stay connected to members of the congregations they are part of. Please contact Dawn if you would like to be involved. All you need is a phone with a camera and something to say.

Watch the video and use the comments to let us know how you get on with the challenge. You can also use the comments to let us know your ideas for games and other other things and we would love to hear how God has spoke to you this week.

Kids Connect Bags

There are bags of activities available for anyone who would like one but they are specifically aimed at children.

To help us to be Covid compliant we are asking that each child decorates their bag and then leaves it at church. We will look after it very carefully and each week it will be available for your child to use during the service.

If you have items at home that your child would like to have with them during the service you are welcome to leave them in the bag, but they will have to stay at church.

We will not be able to wander around during the service so these bags are designed to help your child stay settled with parents.

If you need something for your child’s bag such as pencils to be sharpened, extra paper etc. please talk to one of the Church Welcomers and they will ensure that it is done ready for the following week.
