Whether you chose a christening or a thanksgiving for your child it is the first step of an amazing journey with God, parents, godparents, friends, family and the church.
We are delighted to have shared this special time with you and our prayer is that over the coming years we will get to know you more and your journey of faith will continue to be an important part of your family.
How did we do?
Thank you for inviting us to be part of your family's Christening or Thanksgiving. It is a privilege to accompany a family on their journey of faith and we would very much like to know how you found your experience.
Coming to church
Coming along to church services when children are young can be challenging and unpredictable. Many of us have been there when just getting out the door can feel like a major achievement. Be assured you are welcome no matter how long it has been since we last saw you and no matter what time you arrive.
What can you expect?
Expect to be welcomed whichever service you attend. Some services are planned with families in mind. They are less formal and more interactive and there will be activities children can join in.
How can I find out what’s on?
We have a weekly newsletter that covers what’s on, latest news and how to join in. If you would like to be added to the mailing list let our administrator know.
Each term we publish a diary of services, events and groups taking place across the Harborough Anglican Team for children, young people and families. It is available to download and view.
Midweek groups for babies and preschoolers
Our under fives midweek activities are open to all and you do not have to book.
Exploring faith
We regularly run Alpha courses where adults meet together in small groups to explore faith.
