Welcome to the Parish of the Transfiguration

St Hugh and St Nicholas churches together are the Anglican places of worship which make up the Parish of The Transfiguration. The parish extends South from the River Welland to the County Border (and just beyond!). We are an inclusive and welcoming parish in our part of Market Harborough.

Our two church communities work and worship together. We are always looking for new opportunities to engage with our local community in different ways and enjoy church life together. So please do get in touch if you would like to know more, or visit our Facebook Page.

Our Worship

The Parish of the Transfiguration is part of the Harborough Anglican Team which comprises five Church of England churches in Market Harborough, Little Bowden, Great Bowden and Lubenham. We work closely together, recognising that we can do more together than we can apart and that no one church can be or do everything.

God has made us all different and distinct and we seek to honour that with a wide range of different styles of worship and of being a worshipping community. Not every style will be right for every person so do contact us for suggestion as to where may be right for you.
