Spam is unwanted email, junk mail that arrives without you asking it to.
It has been estimated that almost half of the emails that whizz around the world are junk emails offering products and services that you don't want.
Worst still is that many junk emails are the route by which viruses enter your computer.
The companies who send junk email often use an automatic facility to look at web pages for email addresses. To foil this you will see that our email addresses all have two @ signs in them like this fred.blogs@@harborough-anglican.org.uk and that they never link direct to your email program.
To send and email to someone in the team, copy and paste the email address that you seeon the screen and then backspace the extra @ sign from the address.
